Firedancer came over the Outer Wall three years ago carrying a single black case of tools and a letter of introduction from a kingdom most Alpenglovians had only heard of in rumor. The kingdom was called Jump. The letter was addressed to no one in particular.
She is the only engineer in the city who can build a working validator-bunker from scratch using her own components, without relying on the old guild's templates. The old guild does not like this. She does not care.
She and Anatolia have spoken exactly once. Neither will say what was said.
